Emma Young

with her roots in New England and her heart in New York.

A story teller in front and behind the lens, Emma is an actress, print model, accomplished musician, and filmmaker - specializing in script supervision, sound design, and writing/directing.

She studied classical piano and music production as Columbia College Chicago with additional study at PopAkademie in Mannheim Germany. Winning the Manifest Song Award for her original, self-produced work “Rise”, she now uses her musicianship as a sound designer for film.

Her directorial debut and first sound design credit “The Piece” was accepted to nine film festivals and nominated for two awards. Inspired by her journey from a pianist, to the multi-faceted artist she is now, this film takes an artistic point of view at her experience with imposter syndrome while rigorously studying music.

As an actress and model, Emma has worked for SONY Music, Wantable Clothing, McGraw Hill, Morning Brew and Verizon. You can see her in the upcoming limited series Perfect Sundays as the hilariously vapid Amaya coming Summer 2026.
