with her roots in New England and her heart in New York.
From acting in self-produced comedy skits as an outgoing kid at summer camp, Emma has since trained at Trinity Repertory Theatre Co., Stella Adler, The Barrow Group, MN Acting Studio, and Columbia College Chicago. Currently represented by CPM Talent Management, she can be seen on national commercials for SONY MUSIC, Sharpen/McGraw Hill, Wantable, Danbury Bank, and in print campaigns for many more. On stage, Emma played Maisie in the official off-broadway cast of Remembering Morgan at Playwright’s Horizons in the 2023 Downtown Urban Arts Festival.
Emma began playing piano at the age of six and went on to achieve a Bachelor of Music from Columbia College Chicago. She got additional training in music-production from PopAkademie in Germany, and came home to the states toting the Manifest Song Award and an internship with Mobile Mic Studios. She went on to release an EP, co-direct her music video, and continues to produce music for artists.
Her directorial debut as a filmmaker in the short “The Piece” has been accepted to nine film festivals and nominated for two awards. Inspired by her journey from a pianist, to the multi-faceted artist she is now, this film takes an artistic point of view at her experience with imposter syndrome while rigorously studying music. She hopes the film’s dark theme will illuminate the overpowering anxiety some musicians struggle through in a highly competitive environment.
