The New Band: Sleep for Dinner

If you’ve spent any time with me, you’d know I have a secret love of EDM and all things electronic music. Odeza, Kaskade, DeadMau5, and Late Night Alumni, are always on my playlist. So of course I am over-the-moon for the new band project I’ve been a part of for the last 3 months. I’m living out my electronica dreams as lead synth player, co-vocalist, and co-songwriter in Sleep for Dinner; your new favorite Chicago electronic/alt band.

Already the band had the amazing opportunity to record and perform with Ivan Neville of Dumpstaphunk (You can hear him play on our upcoming release!) We just wrapped up our first show and are looking forward to playing gigs in the city after the holidays.

Band members include: Brett Grant on drums(you may know him from A Million Rich Daughters) Matt Clepper on guitar, Two incredible vocalists: Asher Witkin and Emma McDermott (also on electronic bass). I’ve got my laptop out playing pads and synth. Listen to our first two singles.
